Warehouse Operative

Coveris is a leading global manufacturer, creating high performance and technically engineered packaging solutions. At our Winsford site, we produce polythene film for a range of established customers across multiple industries including agricultural, industrial, and food based. We are looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join our Warehouse department!

Job Description

Shifts; Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm on a 1-week rotating basis. 

Salary; £25,614.54 per year

Holidays; 25 per year

Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse department.

Key responsibilities

  • To offload, check quantity and quality of incoming supplies.
  • To ensure the correct storage of pallets.
  • To pick all finished goods and assemble loads in the designated load area.
  • To be responsible for the sorting of empty pallets into good quality, substandard and returnable sets
  • To unload vehicles as per Company procedure, ensuring all products are stored in the correct designated area and are free from any contamination.
  • Completion of ad-hoc duties to meet the needs of the business, subject to appropriate training.
  • Responsible for maintaining standards of Housekeeping and Hygiene.

  • Experience working shift patterns and/or long hours
  • Understands the manual/labour intensive aspect of role

Essential: An FLT counterbalance license
