Introduction -
Coveris is a leading international manufacturer of film, flexibles, labels and board packaging solutions. We help to reduce waste and constantly work on new, high performance and sustainable packaging solutions. Our Gainsborough site produce high quality print film solutions for suppliers of packaged food to many of the major supermarkets in the UK.
Yours Tasks -
- Monitor and control ink quality
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to (e.g. PPE, health and safety, hygiene, quality)
- Ensure press speeds are always optimised
- Working with and contributing to Continuous improvement activity across site
- Provide holiday cover in line with production agreement, and provide sickness cover where possible
- Ensure effective shift handover is carried out
- Developing the ink formulas and making them under the needs of clients
- Determine the best mix and texture of the ink
- Making the ink pigment that is suitable for printers
Contact with others:
- To ensure that consideration and good relations are maintained at all times.
- To liaise, and communicate fully, at all times with the Line Manager and relevant personnel within the departmental framework.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday Working (Seasonal Saturdays apply in May, June & July)
- 12 hour shifts – 6-6 days, 6-6 nights.
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
